Per N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24 the Township has 60 days to determine an Award of Contract.
If a contract has not been awarded within 60 days it will not be awarded, unless, in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-24, which provides in part that “any Bidders who consent thereto may, at the request of the contracting unit, have their bids held for consideration for such longer period as may be agreed.”
