The Township Administrator coordinates operations, activities and administration of the departments, divisions, offices, boards and agencies of the local government. The office exchanges and disseminates information and advises and consults with the Township Committee.

As the Chief Administrative Officer of the Township, the Administrator attends all meetings of the Township Committee as required, advises the governing body on policy decisions, executes all laws of the state and executes ordinances and resolutions of the Township.

The Administrator recommends appointments, makes recommendations concerning the nature and location of Township improvements, recommends to the Township Committee the adoption of such measures as they may deem necessary or expedient.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITIONS - FULL TIME (1) and PART TIME (2)– BRANCHBURG TOWNSHIP, SOMERSET COUNTY - Seeking one (1) full-time (37.5 hrs/wk, salary range $40,000-46,000) and two (2) part time (up to 25 hrs/wk @ $20/hr) administrative professionals to perform a wide variety of administrative support functions.  Full time position in the Administration department (supporting Administrator, Clerk and Deputy Township Clerk). Two (2) part time positions in the Fire Safety and Health Departments, flexible hours between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Mon-Fri.  Duties include reception of visitors, office support functions, purchasing, meeting coordination, verbal and electronic correspondence, records management, interaction with staff, vendors, and the public is required.
