The Tax Assessor is responsible for the fair assessment of all real property within the municipality in order that the tax burden may be distributed equally.  Before taxes can be levied, all properties in the Township are evaluated. The law requires the Assessor to evaluate property on Oct. 1 in each year and determine full and fair value of each parcel of real property within the Township. This office conducts annual Reassessments.

Each February the Assessment Notice postcards (Green Card) are mailed to each property owner identifying the current and previous assessment and the previous year’s taxes.
